Infinity Scarf Crochet Pattern
Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn in three colors (Color A: Pink, Color B: Olive Green, Color C: Beige)
- Crochet hook size H/5.0 mm
- Scissors
- Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Abbreviations:
- ch: chain
- dc: double crochet
- sc: single crochet
- sl st: slip stitch
- st(s): stitch(es)
- rep: repeat
- sp: space
Pattern:
Note: The scarf is worked in the round, joining at the end of each round.
- Foundation Chain:
- With Color A, ch 120. (You can adjust the length by chaining more or fewer stitches, just ensure it’s a multiple of 4 for the pattern to work.)
- Join with a sl st to the first ch to form a ring, being careful not to twist.
- Round 1:
- Ch 3 (counts as a dc here and throughout), dc in each ch around.
- Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3.
- Round 2:
- Ch 3, skip 1 st, dc in the next st, ch 1, dc in the skipped st (cross stitch made).
- Rep from * to * around.
- Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3.
- Round 3:
- Ch 3, dc in ch-1 sp from the previous round, dc in the skipped st from the previous round.
- Rep from * to * around.
- Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3.
- Round 4:
- Switch to Color B, ch 3, skip 1 st, dc in the next st, ch 1, dc in the skipped st (cross stitch made).
- Rep from * to * around.
- Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3.
- Round 5:
- Ch 3, dc in ch-1 sp from the previous round, dc in the skipped st from the previous round.
- Rep from * to * around.
- Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3.
- Round 6-7:
- Switch to Color C, rep Round 4-5.
- Round 8-12:
- Alternate between Color A, B, and C, rep Round 2-3 until desired width is reached.
- Finishing:
- Fasten off and weave in all ends using a yarn needle.
