Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing the head to the body.

Fasten off, stuff lightly, and sew the arms to the sides of the body.
Legs (make 2):

Stuff the legs and sew them to the bottom of the body.
Leaves on Head:

Make 4-5 leaves, alternating between light and dark green yarns. Sew these leaves to the top of Baby Groot’s head.
Details:
- Eyes: Attach the safety eyes between rounds 6 and 7 of the head, or embroider eyes with black yarn.
- Mouth: Use black yarn to embroider a small smile.
- Body Texture: Add a few strands of brown yarn on the body, weaving them to look like “bark” or twisting them for a natural wood effect.
Finishing:
- Stuff the body and head firmly and sew the head to the body.
- Weave in all ends and adjust the leaves as necessary.
