7–12. Continue alternating colors and shaping (see images for full details).
Eyes: Place between rounds 8–9, 7 stitches apart.
Stuffing: Add fiber gradually from round 19.
DORSAL FINS & TAIL
- 1st Dorsal Fin (Silver): Work in rows, then join mirrored pieces.
- 2nd Dorsal Fin (Silver): 3 ch, skip 1 ch, 1 sc, 1 hdc.
- Tail (Silver): Two-part 2D crochet with picot edges.
LEGS
- Front Legs (Silver/White): Circular crochet with color changes.
- Hind Legs (Yellow/Silver/White): Circular crochet with fin details.
ACCESSORIES
- Float (Blue): Chain 37, join, and work increases/decreases.
- Swimming Goggles:
- Lenses (Blue/Yellow): 2D crochet with edge detailing.
- Elastic (White/Yellow): 20 rows of BLO hdc.
ASSEMBLY
- Sew fins, tail, and legs to the body.
- Embroider gills (black yarn) and smile.
- Glue white felt triangles for teeth.
- Paint nostrils with black fabric paint.
- Attach goggles and float as shown.
