Abbreviations:

  • MR: Magic Ring
  • CH: Chain
  • SC: Single Crochet
  • INC: Increase
  • DEC: Decrease
  • SLST: Slip Stitch
  • HDC: Half Double Crochet

Materials:

  • Yarn: Wolans Bunny Baby
  • Crochet Hook: 5 mm
  • Yarn Needle
  • Safety Eyes: 20 mm
  • Fiberfill for Stuffing
  • Stitch Marker
  • Needle
  • Scissors

ARMS (Make Two)

Color: Main (Yellow)

  • Stuff as you go until R4.
  1. 6 SC into a MR (6)
  2. (2 SC, INC) *2 (8)
  3. 8 SC
  4. (2 SC, DEC) *2 (6)
  5. 6 SC
  • Close the opening by placing 3 SC through both sides. Leave a small tail. Arms will be crocheted onto the body.

ANTENNAS (Make Two)

Color: Secondary (Black)

  • Stuff as you go.
  1. 6 SC into a MR (6)
  2. 6 SC
  3. (1 SC, DEC) *2 (4)
    4–5. 4 SC (2 rounds)
  • Close the opening by placing 2 SC through both sides. Leave a tail for sewing.

BODY & HEAD

  • Stuff as you go. Start with black yarn.
  1. 3 SC into a MR (3)
  2. 3 INC (6)
  3. 6 SC, switch to yellow yarn (CC)
  4. (1 SC, INC) *3 (9)
  5. (2 SC, INC) *3 (12)
  6. (3 SC, INC) *3 (15), switch to black yarn (CC)
  7. (4 SC, INC) *3 (18)
  8. 18 SC, switch to yellow yarn (CC)
  9. (5 SC, INC) *3 (21)
    10–11. 21 SC (2 rounds). Start stuffing. Switch to black yarn (CC)
    12–13. 21 SC (2 rounds). Switch to yellow yarn (CC)
  10. (5 SC, DEC) *3 (18)
  11. 18 SC, switch to black yarn (CC)
  12. (1 SC, DEC) *6 (12)

Attach Arms in R17:
17. 2 SC, 3 SC (arm), 3 SC, 3 SC (arm), 1 SC (12). Switch to yellow yarn. Cut black yarn.

Head:
18. (1 SC, INC) *6 (18)
19. (2 SC, INC) *6 (24)
20. (3 SC, INC) *6 (30)
21. (4 SC, INC) *6 (36)
22–26. 36 SC (5 rounds)
27. (4 SC, DEC) *6 (30)
28. (3 SC, DEC) *6 (24)

  • Place eyes between Rounds 24–25 with 4–5 stitches between. Stuff the head.
  1. (2 SC, DEC) *6 (18)
  2. (1 SC, DEC) *6 (12)
  3. 6 DEC (6). Finish stuffing.
  • Fasten off and weave the yarn tail through the FLO of each stitch. Pull tight to close.
  • Sew facial details (nose and mouth).

WINGS (Make Two)

  • Do not stuff.
  1. 6 SC into a MR
  2. 6 INC (12)
  3. (1 SC, INC) *6 (18)
  4. (2 SC, INC) *6 (24)
    5–6. 24 SC (2 rounds)
  5. (2 SC, DEC) *6 (18)
    8–9. 18 SC (2 rounds)
  6. (1 SC, DEC) *6 (12)
  7. 6 DEC (6)
  • Fold in half and close the opening by placing 3 SC through both sides. Leave a tail for sewing.

Sewing Instructions:

  • Wings: Attach between Rounds 14–16. Use arms as markers.
  • Antennas: Sew between Rounds 27–28, using eyes as placement cues.

FLOWERS (Make Two)

  1. CH 3. HDC in the 3rd chain from the hook (center).
  2. CH 2, SLST in the center.
  3. (CH 2, HDC, CH 2, SLST) *3 (total 4 petals).
  • Leave a tail for sewing.

Sewing Instructions:

  • Attach in front of one antenna.
